John headlines the first ever Comedy in the Park at Wicksteed Open Air Theatre. Jason Manford

Jason is one of the most popular comics on the circuit, having been a team captain on 8 out of 10 Cats, following on from that he also appeared on BBC's "Would I Lie To You", ITV's "Odd One In" and BBC's "Live at the Apollo, as well as performing at the Royal Variety Show.

Jason also has a host of sold-out tours, including his 2018 tour "Muddle Class" which was shown on BBC1 through lockdown.

Rob Beckett

One of the team captains on Channel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats and host of the hit Absolute Radio show Rock n’ Roll Football Rob is now a regular on our screens. His cheeky chappy persona has seen him perform on BBC Two’s Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo, Would I Lie To You and ITV’s Play To The Whistle.

      Al Murray

      Al Murray with his alter-ego, “The Pub Landlord”, is one of the most recognisable and successful comics in the UK. For over 20 years Al has filled arenas around the world, won numerous awards and accolades and has successfully hosted an array of TV series which include “Al Murray’s Happy Hour” (ITV) and the ground breaking sitcom “Time Gentlemen”

      Katherine Ryan

      Katherine is currently the hottest female comedian on the circuit, following on from the success of the Netflix series "The Duchess", she has also co-hosted six series of Comedy Central's smash it show Your Face or Mine with Jimmy Carr. She can currently be seen on Comedy Central as a judge on Roast Battle Series 4, and has judged every other series. Katherine has also appeared on hit shows such as 8 out of 10 Cats, Live at the Apollo and Taskmaster.

      James Acaster

      James is one of the hottest acts on the circuit currently, having just come off the back of his very successful tour “Cold Lasagne Hate Myself 1999”. He’s also a regular face on shows such as Mock the Week, 8 out of 10 cats and Live at the Apollo, as well as boasting some incredible Netflix specials. James is very familiar with Wicksteed Park and it’s surroundings, being Kettering born and bred. He also spent some years of his youth working at the Park in the Oak Tree Café.  James’ most recent project has seen him team up with fellow comedian Ed Gamble in his very successful podcast “Off the menu”, which has just hit 30 million listenters!

      Paul Chowdry

      Paul Chowdhry is a multi-award-winning stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. In August 2019, his record-breaking stand-up tour show, Live Innit, was released as an Amazon Prime original special in 200 countries worldwide. This followed the enormous success of his Live Innit stand-up tour, which received two nationwide extensions, including five nights at Hammersmith Apollo and a sold-out show at Wembley Arena, making Paul the first British Asian stand-up to sell out the 10,000-seater venue. His performance there was voted by the public as one of Wembley Arena’s top ten shows of 2017.

      Paul has won Best Live Event at the ITV Asian Media Awards, Comedian of the Year at the Asian Voice Awards, and the ‘Eastern Eye’ Comedian of the Year award. In its following issue, The Eastern Eye described him as “the greatest British Asian comedian of all time”.

      As an actor, Paul stars in one of the leading roles alongside Patrick Dempsey in the ten-part international TV series Devils, produced by Sky Italia. On TV, Paul has hosted Stand Up for the Week (Channel 4), twice headlined Live at the Apollo (BBC One/Two), and was a much-loved contestant on the third series of the multi-award nominated hit show Taskmaster (Dave/Channel 4).

      Online, Paul is a prolific presence on social media, and his videos have been viewed over 35 million times on Facebook.

      Tom Davis

      Tom Davis is a writer, actor and stand-up comedian best known for his breakout show “Murder in Successville” appearing as DI Sleet. Most recently, Tom has been an integral part of Sky One’s “A League of their Own”, “Plebs” and also “Judge Romesh” as the bailiff to Romesh Ranganathan. Away from the TV screen, Tom is also an incredible comedian in his own right, selling out popular comedy nights across the UK in comedy clubs and venues alike.

      Paul Smith

      Following his first national tour in 2018, which saw him go from circuit act to one of the biggest selling names in UK stand-up in less than a year, Paul Smith took the UK comedy circuit by storm, selling out TWO national tours! Nicknamed the ‘Ginger King of Comedy’, his quick wit and affable nature makes him popular with any crowd – especially after being crowned Liverpool’s New Comedian of the Year and a Finalist at The Leicester Comedian of the Year competition. Paul Smith is one of the wittiest and funniest comics on the circuit currently, and is renowned for being one of the most sought after hosts in Comedy.

        Multi-award-winning comedian, presenter, actor, author and scriptwriter Russell Kane is best known for the BBC Sounds podcast, Evil Genius which has become a flagship show and was the best performing original podcast on the platform.
