COMEDY IN THE PARK STATEMENT

'Dear valued customers,

We are sorry to announce that we are postponing some of our 2021 events until 2022.

There are two reasons for this:

Firstly, despite promises of Covid-specific cancellation insurance for live events, central government has not delivered. The lack of a much-needed safety net for our industry, staff and customers creates huge financial risks.

Secondly, the potential for local restrictions to be imposed throughout the UK is an important recent change. The national picture on the pandemic changes daily: the ability to close any event, in any area, at any time, still remains. Without Covid-related cancellation insurance, this could cause significant financial difficulties.

As a responsible promoter and employer, we simply cannot take these risks. At the forefront of our decisions has always been customer safety, and still to this day it remains our number 1 priority.

It is incredibly complex to reschedule multiple venues, artists and comedians on a nationwide UK tour. We are currently in the final stages of confirming all 2022 rescheduled dates.

Our commitment to you is that within two weeks from this published statement date, all rescheduled dates will be sent to you and published online. All tickets for rescheduled 2021 events will automatically roll-over and be valid for the new 2022 dates. You do not need to take any action and further information will be emailed directly to you.

We have compiled a FAQ to answer any questions you may have. Please do not contact venues or comedians as they have no details regarding your booking.

Our team is now working tirelessly with venues and agents to reschedule the events and bring incredible live experiences across the UK. We look forward to welcoming you all and are extremely grateful to all of our staff, suppliers, comedians and customers during this time.'

A message from John:

Hello,

Comedy in the Park and M&B Promotions have sadly decided to postpone some of these events.

The Comedy in the Park shows have nothing to do with my Right Here, Right Now Tour and the organisation of the shows does not involve me personally, my tour promoter, or my management.  I was booked to do 30-minute headline sets as part of a mixed bill with some brilliant comedians and was looking forward to them.

Comedy in the Park have confirmed that your original tickets will be valid for your rescheduled dates.  If you have any questions please contact the source you purchased the tickets from - either Gigantic Tickets, or Easy Ticketing via customerservices@gigantic.com / customercare@easyticketing.co.uk

Best wishes, and I hope to see you either at the revised dates, or at my 2021/ 2022 tour.

John x
